Sue Stowell, founder of Willow Organic Beauty had been a creative interior designer for 20 years and was working on a design for an award winning spa when she was asked to help source some organic luxury beauty products for the spa’s treatments. Having always been an advocate of organic food and products, Sue soon discovered that there was nothing available which was truly organic and of a luxury quality, and inspired by the opening of the spa, decided to incorporate effective organic beauty products into her own skincare regime as well. Sue teamed up with an expert team of cosmetic chemists, herbalists, and aromatherapists with the specific brief of developing a genuinely organic skincare range which had to be effective and give women the results they wanted. Following extensive sampling, testing and formulating and mixing organic fragrances, as well as a complicated bureaucratic process complying with stringent EEC regulations, everything was eventually approved by the Soil Association to be certified organic and Willow Organic was born. Sue, working with her two daughters, who were previously in marketing & PR, developed the first luxurious range of Willow Organic skincare products. As a unique, organic brand, the range was quickly adopted by an award winning spa in Hampshire for use in their facial treatments. With the popularity of the first facial range ever increasing, Sue set to work at extending the range. Following feedback and extensive research the new range was developed to specifically target anti-ageing and is suitable for sensitive skin. Experts who have contributed to the development of the new range include cosmetic chemists, spa therapists, aromatherapists and herbalists, who all worked with Sue to create this ethical and truly effective range which is certified organic. |
